What We Do
We design and develop websites. We can design from scratch or we can bring your existing site up-to-date. We develop small static sites or larger dynamic ones. Design
No two people, or businesses or organizations are alike, therefore no two websites should be the same. Effective web development begins with careful research and design based on the needs of the business and the end-user. We also provide photography and graphic design for your site.
Standards
No haphazard bloated code here. At Rouviere Media, we believe that websites should be built according to the latest W3C standards to ensure efficiency, accessibility and long-term viability. As such, we build websites using XHTML, CSS and Flash when appropriate to the content and messaging.
Planning
Effective planning is an important key to success for any project and web development is no exception. Everything from colors and fonts to layout and content positioning is taken into consideration before a line of xhtml is written.
Development
Design and development go together and at Rouviere Media we keep them together, thereby keeping the concept and the execution intact. By leveraging XHTML and CSS, content and styles are kept separate to provide provide lean, fast-loading pages and allowing for easy modification to an entire site through changes to a single style sheet.
Support
The website is done, the pages are uploaded to the server and everything is working fine, until the day you decide to make some changes or something goes missing. No problem. At Rouviere Media, we continue to support the site even after the project is "done".
